Georgetown High School has released detailed tryout times and locations for its fall 2026 sports season, with tryouts set to begin Monday, Aug. 24.

GEORGETOWN -- Georgetown Public Schools' athletics department posted a fuller tryout schedule this week, giving families specific dates, times and venues for each fall sport ahead of registration deadlines.

HIGH SCHOOL

According to the athletics department, tryouts run Aug. 24-26 for most sports: girls soccer from 7-9 a.m. at the GMHS turf, boys soccer from 4-6 p.m. at the GMHS turf, cross country at 9 a.m. at Penn Brook Elementary, and girls volleyball at 5:30 p.m. in the GMHS Big Gym. Golf tryouts are set for a single day, Aug. 24 at 7 a.m. at Far Corners Golf. The department listed fall 2026 user fees as $425 for soccer, $375 for cross country and volleyball, and $475 for golf. A full tryout and practice schedule for Aug. 24 through Sept. 7 is posted on the athletics department's Google Sheet, and registration remains open through the district's Snap Registration portal.
