Carol (Hazeltine) MacKenzie, 93, of Georgetown, died August 29, 2026. She worked for General Electric in West Lynn and was a longtime Georgetown resident, where she and her husband, Ralph MacKenzie, who died in 2005, raised their family. She is survived by three daughters, Leslie Vasbinder, Jennifer Goodman and Beth Brostuen. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Word Made Flesh Moldova La Via Community Center per the family's wishes. Robert G. "Bob" Hamilton, 84, of Georgetown, died August 30, 2026, at his home after several years battling cancer. He was an engineer who spent his career at General Electric and served as a Trustee at Byfield Parish Church for more than 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Murch) Hamilton, and four children. Funeral services will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders, Pregnancy Care Center or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute per the family's wishes.
